"Homeland", Nimet, Solo Exhibition, Independent Art Space Pasaj, Nimet Han, Beyoglu/Istanbul
The installation, consisting of bronze-cast plastic shoes and their packaging was placed on the concrete area in front of the balcony door instead of the wooden floor in the room. The symbolic associations in the form and packaging of the shoes used by the peasant class are linked to the soil.
