This project is inspired by the words of a Palestinian child in a video where he describes his life. If we have difficulty grasping the realities expressed in numbers, perhaps words, phrases and sentences become more tangible. The paint on T-shirts that changes color with heat creates a transformation where the meaning turns negative – like a stabbing pain in our chest. The moments when we want something we can do are interrupted by the fact that these feelings are not always at the same temperature. A video or a post on social media touches us, and we confront realities that we have forgotten until we remember them.
